Great Service - Not much on the menu Reviewed by ooosugardumplin on

I thought Ralph's on the Park had a veggie menu. I was wrong. I eat meat but not often. Even the salads had bacon on them. I ordered (more like forced myself to order because I didn't want anything on the menu besides a side of asparagus) the creamcheese encrusted cobia. The fish was good AFTER I scraped the mountain of cheese off of the top. I knew when I ordered it that it was cooked with cream cheese, I just had no idea it was smothered in it. On the upside, my boyfriend said his steak was the best he'd ever had. Our waiter, Greg, was excellent. I only wish they'd bring back their veggie menu.

Quite simply: go. It is worth it, under any circumstances. You have the backdrop of City Park, separated from other restaurants and any other distractions, superb food, and excellent service. I love this place, especially for a romantic dinner or rendezvous. Good wine selection. Tourists: one of the best kept secrets of mid-city.
Pros: Some of the best food and atmosphere in the city
