New Orleans Louisiana Shopping
When it comes to shopping, New Orleans is best known for its good food, good restaurants and great shopping experience. This collection of stores delivers on the promise of being home to an A-list retailer. Art galleries are wonderfully diverse, offering everything from fine art to fine jewelry and even a bit of everything else.
One of New Orleans "museums is located in the Riverwalk Mall, and the shops are just a few blocks from the city's main shopping street.
Magazine Street is a great place to connect with local owners and operators, and the galleries and shopkeepers are super friendly and show a friendly attitude that never seems aggressive or intrusive. With bold letters proclaiming "Home of Jax Beer," this brewery is the perfect place to sample and sample New Orleans cuisine.
The North Shore Square Mall is easy and quick to reach, and you can reach it from any of New Orleans' most popular shopping districts, such as Magazine Street. Walk a short walk from the main entrance of the mall on the corner of Magazine and St. Charles Street and enjoy good views of all the shops and restaurants on the north side of the mall. Visit one of the many restaurants and shops or sample the local food and drinks at the restaurant, the French Quarter.
Expect a trip to New Orleans, but it's nice to know that you can mix in some shopping with sunbathing and a few games of video poker. Shop for paintings, clothes and specialities and enjoy the sights and sounds of the French Quarter and its many restaurants and shops. You can also shop at one of the restaurants to enjoy the fresh gumbo and jambalaya scent as well as delicious food and drinks.
If you're looking for an antique shop in New Orleans, head to Royal Street, which has over 25 antique shops just waiting to be explored. French market on the colonnade is also a strip shop if you want to buy souvenirs and local specialties.
If you're stocking up on decorations to New Orleans (take a fleur - de - lis if possible), then check out the Christmas shops in Decatur. Shopping centers and malls recommend the North Shore Square Mall, which is home to a variety of specialty stores, restaurants and gift shops. The gift shop is a good place to pick up some gifts for family, friends or even yourself, as it also stocks high quality souvenirs, mugs and orchids.
The Riverwalk Marketplace was built in 1984 after the New Orleans World's Fair, and Canal Place is home to a variety of specialty shops, restaurants and souvenir shops, as well as a large number of restaurants.
Formerly known as the Economics Institute, marketumbrella.org began as an attempt to promote ecologically sound economic development in New Orleans. The primary focus is to provide a clean, safe and fun place to live along the Riverwalk, a six-mile corridor that runs through some of New York's most popular neighborhoods. This complex of shops is the result of Save the City, the post-Katrina foundation that helps organizations rebuild homes. T-shirts, hats and wearables are sold, and one Katrina victim first sold a line of organic cotton sportswear on a street corner.
Prime Outlets in Gulfport, Mississippi, is located 50 miles northeast of New Orleans, but is also about an hour and a half's drive away. Lakeside is located in the heart of Metairie and houses some of the city's most popular restaurants, bars and shops.
Cella Boutique also has a location on Metairie Road in the French Quarter, but smaller malls are much closer to New Orleans. Some of the best shopping options are recommended for something out of the ordinary and quirky that can be found at the soon-to-open Bay St. Louis spot. The best places to find good finds are the variety of lively Canal Street and a fun stop at several locations. A few miles north of New York City, The New Orleans Shopping Center is located on Poydras Street near the Superdome.
Chartres Street is home to H & M, Sephora and Urban Outfitters, as well as a variety of clothing, accessories, jewelry, homewares and more. If you want to take a short drive, there are a number of great shopping options on Wildflower and Mirabella Metairie Road, which includes a wide selection of quality clothing and accessories for men, women and children, as well as some of the best restaurants.
Home Team Sportswear is a great place to pick up some New Orleans Saints memorabilia, and while everything is beautiful and the collection is significant, one of my favorites remains the classic New Orleans coordinate bracelets. There are a variety of local artisans who make everything from T-shirts, hats, jackets, shoes, accessories and more. One of the most popular things in the home team, many of which carry the Saints logo, is the shirt so you can keep it anywhere near you.
